     Sorry to hi jack,   

    But I just picked up a ds708. It "failed to register" when I completed the process.  

    Thoughts anyone?  It does ask if I wont to transfer from the previous owner.

     Contact Autel support via email with your device info and they will transfer the registration to you.

     Hi,
    Tried that, they said due to no updates available for the unit, if they register it, it may render the unit useless. So, they said keep using it as is.

     Best Turn off the WIFI on it or it will mess up and stop working .
